Are You Owning ALL of Your Value?

I know many of my followers have their own businesses and/or are career women with big goals. They often come in for Pelvic Bowl Healing sessions to work through blocks that are holding them back from their greatest successes. And, of course, it works!

What I see in these clients and also my Nurse Practitioner coaching clients is that their value is often tied to their income and/or success in their work. They feel like they’re only successful when they’re making a high income or meeting every single goal. They forget to value all the other amazing things they do/are.

Your Value can be witnessed in a very practical way with a couple of tools:

First, use a Brag Book:

At the end of each day, write a whole journal page about what you did and how you showed up that day. When I actually write down everything I accomplish each day, the list is pretty long, even if it didn’t include any income. Be sure to add how you showed up in the way you wanted to show up. Did you answer an email wlth patience and love? Were you kind to the tired check-out person at the grocery? Did you take breaks and allow yourself some rest between tasks?

When we acknowledge who we are and all that we do, we recognize our value and appreciate ourselves on a deeper level. This brings even more value and appreciation right back to us!

Second, use a Value Sheet:

I got this from one of my favorites Denise Duffield-Thomas. I’ve been in her Money Bootcamp for the last 6 years. Not only does she encourage to pay attention to our money and track each and every cent that comes our way, she also tells us to track our Value. Value is the free things you get and the stuff you do for yourself that you could pay someone else to do.

When someone buys your coffee, that’s value. When you clean the house yourself instead of hiring a cleaner, that’s value. When you do all of your own social media posts for your business, that’s value. When you decide to be a stay-at-home parent instead of working outside the home, that’s major value. Set a price for everything you do for yourself and add it to your Value sheet. You’ll be shocked at how much Value you bring to the table every week.

When we appreciate all the value we have in our lives and how much value we bring to the table, more appreciation comes back to us.

Which one will you start with? A Brag Book or a Value Sheet or both? Post your plan here so we can help you stay accountable.

The Value in me appreciates the Value in you!
