Ask For What You Really Want

One of the things that often comes up in Pelvic Bowl Healing sessions, especially related to the left ovary energy (the feminine side) is that women are not generally asking for what they truly want for themselves and their lives.

This is common in women in general, especially those who act as caregivers, mothers, and healers.

We’re ready and willing to take care of what everyone else wants and we forget about ourselves.

What do you really want?
Are you happy with the way your life looks right now?
Are you fulfilled in your career path?
Are you satisfied in your relationship?
Are you asking for what you want in the bedroom?

When women aren’t making their wants known, there’s an emptiness in the bowl. On my end, it feels like a void.

Often, when I ask women what they want, their response goes to what they want for their children or what they think they SHOULD want. With a little more asking and encouraging the woman to look inside her bowl for the answers, the real wants begin to flow.

One woman wants a totally different career path, but feels stuck as the primary breadwinner.

Another wants more intimacy with her partner in the form of talking and cuddling before sex. She doesn’t really enjoy her sexual relations, but has been afraid to speak up for fear of hurting her partner.

There’s been a woman who hates living in the city and wants to live on a farm, yet her partner’s job is in the city and she doesn’t want him to have to commute.

Another discovered that she doesn’t enjoy being a stay-at-home mom and feels she would enjoy mothering more if she had an outside job part-time.

One other described hating her exercise regimen and felt trapped by society’s pressure to be thin and “perfect”.

I deeply urge you to go inside your own pelvic bowl and see what wants might be buried there.

What are you really wanting that you feel is impossible to receive?
What are you settling for by not making your wants known?
How could your life feel so much better if you admitted your wants and took a few steps to make them happen?

I’m happy to help you in a session if that feels helpful and hopefully you’re a member of my free The Sacred Terrain Facebook group where I have pelvic bowl meditations you can practice with. If not, click below to join.
