Keep Your Vibration High

With all that’s going on in the world around us right now, it can be really hard to stay grounded and true to ourselves. We want to help, we want to feel like we’re doing something, and yet, we feel kind of hopeless. This can bring down our vibration and thus bring down the vibration of the whole planet.

When we feel low, many of us turn to self-sabotaging behaviors like sulking, overeating, fighting with our partners, binging on social media, or even use drugs or alcohol to feel better. All these behaviors do is make us feel worse. Why not do something positive you can control right now? Raise your vibration.

There are so many things that drain our energy during regular times: work, annoying co-workers, needy children/friends/partners, traffic, social gatherings, the news, etc. and now we have a global pandemic on our hands. With all this happening, our vibration could become low. Think of your vibration as how you feel: your thoughts, emotions, attitudes, and actions.  When vibration is high, we feel energized, vibrant, focused, and full of zest for life. When vibration is low, we feel depressed, angry, hopeless, and down.

The first step in raising your vibration is to recognize when it is starting to become low. How many times have you ignored the signals from your body. Instead of resting, you turned to another cup of coffee. Instead of meditating, you sat and looked at an internet. Instead of sleeping, you drank too much wine. You get the point. When you get a symptom, stop right away and try to figure out what your body is trying to say. This is an even bigger challenge right now because we are being bombarded with news and conflicting information.

The next step is to make the change your body wants. If you’re not sure what’s needed, work on at least one activity to raise your vibration. Here is a list of a whole lot of ideas for vibration-raising activities:

  • Practice gratitude.
  • Meditate (even for 10 minutes).
  • Be in nature and appreciate the beauty. (She won’t give you germs.)
  • Listen to music.
  • Sing or chant.
  • Stop complaining or gossiping.
  • Move your body.
  • Dance.
  • Practice forgiveness.
  • Use positive affirmations and mantras.
  • Do something kind for someone else.
  • Allow yourself to feel how you want to feel.
  • Laugh.
  • Use water for therapy: take a bath.
  • Hug someone tightly (who you’ve probably already exposed). 🙂
  • Tell yourself how great you are. Stop negative thinking.
  • Eat healthy, organic, local food full of color.
  • Journal out your negative thoughts.
  • Take a nap.
  • Sleep soundly every night.
  • Stay totally present, live in the now.
  • And most important, listen to when you’ve had enough and unplug from technology.

These are not easy times to navigate. I’m trying to provide my people with solid information to help alleviate fears and right now, that’s pretty hard. My best advice is to stay home as much as you can. Enjoy the time off and do things from the list above, read that book you haven’t had time to read, or get caught up on your self-care.

Wishing you health and happiness in the coming weeks. I do offer pelvic bowl healing sessions online if that feels helpful and I’m available for questions and support by phone and email if you need anything.

I’d love to hear other ideas you’re implementing to keep your vibration elevated during these times. Please comment below with your thoughts.

I wonder what’s possible for the earth if we’re all raising vibration at once. ?
